Large basic home for a big group. A place to rest your heads if you want to discover the surrounding areas of San Jose
Friends knew the area. Location was near to Willow Glen (a 10 min drive). It was in a track home neighborhood which was decently quiet. It was large for our group. Enough bedrooms. It was basic. Clean & comfortable, no frills. Met our needs for a 2 night stay. A place to rest our heads.
At bedtime we discovered that the water heater was off. Took us a LONG time to light it and then had to wait overnight for showering etc. Not a good welcome. The dishwasher was full, clean dishes in it but stacked & fully loaded - either previous guests hadn’t run it in time for cleaning crew to empty or cleaners never checked. There is a raised floor area on the way to the downstairs bedroom, bathroom and garage that there are signs on the floor to alert you BUT several people still almost had a fall from this. Would not recommend this place for elderly guests who require downstairs accommodations - far too risky. There was no formal dining area. A table and chairs for 4 was in the kitchen. Plastic covered seats on the chairs. Yuk. We didn’t go outside but there was a patio table that seated 6. It wasn’t noted in the home description but there was only a K cup coffee maker and not a “real”coffee maker - however the management did provide a few k cups and mini creamers.
