Sea Haven

The location of the house was great. The house itself was perfe t for our needs. It was easy to park the cars. The house was well equipped with everything we needed.

There was nothing g to criticise.

Location and views. Good communication with the owner. Comfortable Plenty of room for our family and dogs.

Location was excellent, most probably the best we have ever experienced. Ideally placed between Port Isaac and Gaverne. Parking for 3 cars was always achieved on the terrace road directly outside the accommodation. Bedding was comfortable and accommodation well equipped, decent Wifi although TV was a challenge. Enjoyed the view and the weather was kind enough for us to admire it.

The property has the potential to be fabulous and I would have rebooked again if the cleanliness had been up to scratch and I would have paid more to stay there too because it’s in a great spot. However , the cleanliness let the property down. Although addressed we spent 3 days eating out as it was bank holiday waiting for the cleaners to come and deal with the oven which needed a heavy duty clean. The showers were also mouldy. Andy did send a cleaner Tuesday who fully degreased the oven / extractor hood and sorted the showers with a steam cleaner and lots of mould / mildew remover as best she could , she also attended to the dishwasher covered in food and spillages down the side which had accumulated over time. On general inspection the over all cleanliness needed some attention it was evident the cleaning team are changing beds and towels but nothing more. Shame because it truly would be a lovely place to stay if a little more attention to the house was given. We did take pictures to show Andy so he’s aware and I know he is onto this but for us whilst we had a great holiday a whole weekend was wasted trying to work around the problems.
