Hillcrest House

Warren and Cyan were lovely hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had the whole two bedroomed place to ourselves with a large kitchen and lounge. There was a gas stove and a microwave and we borrowed their Air-fryer. They will be getting one in the future. Fruit platter and bottles of red and white wine were complimentary provided, and appreciated. Milk, coffee, tea and sugar was also initially provided. Linen and towels were provided and regularly changed with spares in the wardrobes, The house are regularly cleaned as well. I would booked Hillcrest House again without any hesitation.

No WiFi as yet, however, they will be installing soon. TV had only Netflix but DSTV will be installed soon as well. There were a few minor things which they are addressing but overall it was lovely.

Location was good. Clean and comfortable. I think the establishment does not do breakfast but there was tea/coffee/ milk and rusks and bottled water.

Fans (ceiling or table top) would have been nice since it was quite warm in the unit especially at night with windows closed for fear of the mozzies and other insects.

This is a lovely, homely and comfortable cottage in a picturesque and quiet area. It was clean and neat and, although not a catered facility, the hosts had ensured there was fresh milk in the fridge for us to have tea and coffee, which we really appreciated. The hosts were also very gracious and went the extra mile by chauffeuring us to and from the local restaurant - the food was excellent and very affordable - so that we could get something to eat and didn't have drive around and go looking for a place to eat after a long and tiring journey. This was an extra-special touch and most thoughtful - definitely a stand out for us! Thank you Warren and family!
