The place was great for families, you can pretty much stay and not go anywhere - just enjoy quality time. The caretaker was great. I think quite honestly his service is probably the only thing that makes the place great, he assists with bookings, any fishing tackle, fixing or maintenance issues. His always available, always helping

Our cabin needs TLC, the tv was not working, we in the middle of winter, the heated blanket didn't work. The heater looks terrible, the dishes are dirty, the cupboards are dirty. The bathroom was dirty. This cabin was just not looked after at all. It probably is the most underwhelming cabin. To make things worse, the jacuzzi needs to be rented out, booked it out for the evening as we walking with our kids, we hear adults in there doing funny things, it was disgusting! We reported it the very next day, people are not mindful but neither was there any supervision for a facility where you need to rent and pay to use certain facilities. I couldn't understand the logic really. Our beddings were stained, when I asked the question I was told Knysna has a water problem hence why everything white looked like it was never washed
