An interesting guesthouse/AIR B&B/loddge, house! On a quiet neighbourhood street about 10-15 minute walk from Eastleigh Town centre. A little hard to find at night, streets are quiet once out of the small centre. It felt a bit like a house for students! I was in room 1 on the ground floor. Stairs lead to second floor where other rooms are located. Had to contact staff to be let into property. But arrive late, after 11 pm (23:00). Late arrival was not a problem. The student staff member was kind, friendly and helpful: showed me around. The house has a well stocked kitchen: kettle, fridge, cooker, sink. Plenty of cups, plates, cutlery. Large rubbish bin in kitchen. One counter with high chairs to sit and eat food. Several plug sockets in kitchen. Free tea/coffee available, with sugar. Milk in fridge. Kitchen and separate bathroom about 10 metres from my room. Compact comfy room, single bed with duvet, sheet, pillows. Small cupboard beside bed. Plug socket near by bed. Two desks, one large swivel chair. Large window with curtains. Double bed, low on the ground. Good, free fast speed Wifi, easy to connect. Worth 1-2 nights. Quiet budget guesthouse/lodge in Eastleigh, small town in Hampshire. 15-minute train ride to Southampton. Longer to London.

No bathroom in room. External bathroom is tiny. When getting up from the toilet, be careful not to hit your head on the close wall. Small sink. No lift/elevator to upper floor. Bed is low on the ground. A bit of a walk from Eastleigh town centre with large/heavy bags. A little far from cafes/eateries. No rubbish bin in room.
