We didnt like the rule for quiet time. 8pm is a bit early..we received chinese and were eating it in kitchen. But even pouring 2 glasses of water from the tap and getting cutlery from drawer made a little noise..i also answered phone call to chinese delivery man at door.... we were not rowdy or loud by any means . .we were eating our food chatting when man from room 1 came out and asked us to respect the quiet hours. I waa 8.30, . we did respect quiet hours but to be honest 10pm would be more suitable quiet time. Its actually 11pm by law.. We also had to phone owner to ask were to get toilet roll as there was none in bathroom. Otherthan this we only needed a bed for the night to sleep before our early departure for the flight next morning

Location was good for the money. Facilities were also very good, although it was a communal bathroom, it was still of good quality and the shower was very relaxing :)

Nice room but a bit overpriced

Very tastefully decorated room and had very nice shared facilities. The host was reposnive making check-in easy.

Basics for a room in an air bnb was not up to scratch. There was only decaf coffee available in the kitchen which was not ideal. The room was nice but could have done with proper blinds as the light came through.

Didn't feel safe as a solo female traveler

Nothing - ended up not staying the night. Complaint in progress.

As a solo female traveler, this property did not feel safe. The front door was stiff and had a dodgy lock (a neighbour had to help me in). The room had a code to get in - I didn't like the idea that ANYONE could also have this code and enter my room at any time. I also encountered a male (another guest or the owner, I am not sure) in the coridoor who didn't say a word to me, just stared me down. I left immediately and booked somewhere else for the night. I am in the process of a complaint, as I don't think other female travelers should stay here - doesn't feel safe.

There was no tea / coffee and milk provided, or at least I didn't find it, though there is a nice kitchen with a fridge for guests to use. It wasn't really a problem though, I'm always prepared and have a few spares in my bag, so I was able to make a coffee using the kettle in the kitchen.

I arrived later in the night 11.30pm and couldn't get in the front door due to it having to be pulled and lifted in a certain way to open. took 40 minutes to contact anyone for help.

Good value

Easy check in process. Free water bottles, access to the kitchen that was clean and well equipped. Free off street parking. Good shower.

The washroom was not very clean black marks in the shower and the toilet was dirty, the shower door is hard to open. The room can do with better sound proofing as noise from other guests can be heard in the night. Be careful where you park as other inconsiderate guests might block your car in

The room was basic but very clean. Good sheets and towels.

The blind was much smaller than the window. As summer awake with bright sunshine at 5am. Good curtains or blinds is a basic requirement to a good nights sleep. 3 pillows between 2 people not ideal.

Ideal for short stay

We were looking for just one night stay as our son was playing a gig at a local venue. The location was good for both local shops and walking distance to our venue. The access instructions were good. We were able to park on site off the road. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was a shared bathroom, but very close to our room. The shared kitchen was well stocked and we could have cooked there if we had wished to.

Not a guest house more like a HMO without the ensuite.

Expected to let yourself in through a door with a dodgy lock. Extremely steep staircase to upstairs room, no overhead lighting, automatic lighting at foot level. Bathroom was small, knees were on the sink unit when using the toilet. Room was small, only one double socket working and 1 bedside lamp. Bed was totally uncomfortable. House rules were totally unacceptable as far as bed linen and towels concerned. I paid for a bed for 2 nights not to clear the room and put the bedding downstairs. This was a totally unacceptable place for a line female to stay.

Very loud TV / Radio from adjacent property throughout the evening. Dodgy front door requiring 'the knack' to open it until it beds in. Would not be great in the event of an emergency.

Excellent budget overnight stay

Well equipped and organized guest house with shared facilities. Modern and clean. Great communication with host/owner. Keys via key box with security code for accessing bedroom. Check out at 11am allows a good lie in / leisurely morning. I stayed whilst attending a music festival at the football stadium - 20 min bus journey away from property. Property a 15 min walk from Eastleigh train station. Bottled water provided in room alongside hairdryer - both v much appreciated. Excellent value for money.

Great location and quiet stay

We were impressed with the location and how quiet it was. We didn’t really utilise the facilities as we only really used the room to sleep while visiting our son and fiancée but we were very happy with the property and communication. The other guests staying were respectful too
