--Free Parking & 2 King Beds -- Vintage Retreat -- Floyd's Freedom

This is a well-maintained older house. The pictures are well done and led me to believe that the house was more newly and more completely renovated, but that is not their fault. The price accords to the facilities. It is in a residential area; it is a 15-minute walk to the metro; it is a 10-minute walk to Old Town. If that is what you are looking for, this is for you; if you want to be closer to things, it is not. The parking space was great. Communication with the owner/manager was great. It is on 3 floors: 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom in the basement. The basement bedroom of course has no windows. AC worked great.

Nothing was bad, and the things that were not ideal were things that would drive the price up. It would be great to have the same thing right by the metro and Old Town and no basement rooms, but that would cost a lot more! One thing is that the kitchen and dining room are pretty cramped. There is very little counter space in the kitchen and it is difficult to sit more than a few people at the table. The living room space was quite big in contrast.

Great location. Walkable and very quiet.

I like the fact that you feel right at home. The beds were extremely comfortable and cozy. The shower in the basement is my favorite place in the house. The couch was comfortable and filled with plenty of games.
