an original, convenient and reasonably priced place to stay in Saint-Tropez
La Romana is a very convenient place to stay when visiting Saint-Tropez, due to its excellent location, just a few minutes of walk from the harbour and city center. At the same time, being located in a quiet and discreet dead-end street, one feels protected from the often crowded areas of Saint-Tropez. Being able to park the car there was a plus. Concerning the room, its arty decoration was entertaining and the pain au chocolat at breakfast was excellent.
Having a bit more space to set the table for breakfast would be a useful improvement; having a towel rack in the bathroom would be convenient.

The hostess, Catherine, is simply exceptional — always available, always ready to help with anything, and full of kindness and attention to detail. She made us feel not like guests, but like part of something special. The entire property is immaculately clean, with beautiful, thoughtful touches everywhere. The design is elegant and deeply French — everything from the furniture to the color palette reflects a refined and tasteful aesthetic. It’s clear that every corner was created with love and intention. The service is outstanding — attentive, yet discreet. You truly feel that people genuinely care about your comfort and experience. Mornings were a delight, especially with fresh croissants and artisan jam from a local bakery in Saint-Tropez — a small but beautiful detail that sums up the entire philosophy of the place. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to stay at Villa Romana. It exceeded all expectations, and I already can’t wait to return. Merci infiniment, and see you soon!
