Memento Vivere

The property had lots of personality, the host was lovely and we had the neighbourhood cat come to visit us which we really loved! The room was clean, there were lots of bits for tea and coffee and it’s quiet at the end of the street.

The only downside was the bathroom situation. You have to either be staying here alone or be very comfortable with your partner as there is no bathroom door and you can see the toilet from the bed. This isn’t ideal if you have any accessibility issues either due to lots of steps down to the property.

We had an amazing stay in Marika's lodging, the place is just exactly like the ones in the pictures and more. Both the room and the toilet is quite spacious, and the garden with the perfect view of the bay is even larger than we expected. When we first arrived we were warmly welcomed by Marika, who was a delightful host, always checking on us tending to our needs, and had a plesant talk about traveling and life in general. For the price you pay for this stay, you couldn't ask for anything better really.
