Boutique Sea view studio 2A La Cala de Mijas

I have just spent 6 fabulous nights in this lovely apartment and enjoyed every single minute. Just an easy 10 minute walk to the buzzing little town of La Cala de Mijas with its many excellent restaurants, beach bars and shops but in a peaceful and pleasant location. The apartment has sea views and I would guess has been recently renovated to a very high standard. It’s spotlessly clean and has absolutely everything you need. There is TV ,free WiFi and the use of the buildings huge swimming pool and gardens. Although the apartment is on the 6th floor, giving that lovely sea view, there are two elevators so access is not a problem. Five minutes walk and you are on the beach with a very good beach restaurant and bar. There is also a handy little shop and Italian pizzeria 2 minutes away and an excellent Indian restaurant 5 minutes walk away.All in all a very pleasurable experience and highly recommend you give it a try!

It was clean and fresh. All facilities you need including chairs to sit by the pool. All you need for a lovely shower. Bathroom was modern and beautiful. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely bright area on the enclosed balcony. Quiet area.

The only negative was that there was only the tiniest of food preparation worktop area available. Perhaps some sort of table near the kitchen area could be very useful to put things on whilst you prepared your meal. I only had salads and breakfast but space was problematic. No other negative to add. I found it lovely.

Location was excellent

Locatie was goed. Strand en centrum goed aan te lopen. Complex zag er keurig onderhouden uit.

Onvoldoende handdoeken. We moesten er om vragen en de andere dag kregen we schone handdoeken. Stelling van host was dat in principe 1 handdoek per persoon voor 4 dagen wordt verstrekt. Dat vinden wij ver onder de maat. We konden de ingang van het complex niet vinden en stonden om de hoek gepakeerd. De man die de sleutel overhandigde weigerde om even onze richting uit te komen om ons de weg te wijzen. UIteindelijk vonden we elkaar wel. Hij heeft de deur voor ons geopend maar kon ons verder niets vertellen over het appartement (schoonmaak, handdoeken e.d.). Hij bracht alleen de sleutel als vriendendienst voor de host. Met haar verliep het contact overigens wel soepel. Jammer dat het bij digitaal contact bleef. Er was weinig kastruimte in het appartement.
