Great find in the Barolo wine region! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. For example, they were very flexible with our late check in & check out times and they couldn’t do enough for us… including booking us a restaurant & helping us plan our bike ride! It was also sweet of them to acknowledge my partner’s birthday with a candle & cake at breakfast and gave us gifts of wine & a lavender soap as we departed. It’s these fine details & finishing touches we really appreciated. Other than that, the place is extremely clean & well cared for. Breakfast is also yummy with high quality produce. Thank you!

A wonderful, relaxing, well located place to stay.

We absolutely loved staying at La Cascina di Carlotta. The location was fantastic, so central and easy to get everywhere. The breakfast each day was delicious with fresh and homemade produce. The room was excellent and comfortable and super clean. The pool was lovely. Fausto and Carlotta looked after us so well and made dinner reservations for us. We would love to stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

An ideal base for exploring the beauty of Piemonte.

Our stay in Piemonte was absolutely excellent, much thanks to this fantastic place. The location, right in the heart of the region, gave us the perfect place to explore the amazing Barolo and Barbaresco areas. The hosts offered exceptional service and was always positive and helpful. The breakfast was great with several homemade options. The pool and bar area was a fabulous place to relax between visits to the many beautiful nearby villages. An ideal base for exploring the beauty of Piemonte.

A perfect stay with such a friendly helpful host. Just charming. We definitely will go back!

For breakfast a very good choice of options available, to be requested the evening before which then was served the next day. Excellent quality! Fausto, the host, was always there to help out with suggestions/recommendations on activities and particularly helping out to get reservations organised in lovely restaurants nearby or wine tastings at excellent wineries. He seems to know everybody!! New e-bikes to rent with full equipment! There is even a Tesla charger!

Most relaxing experience in beautiful surroundings.

Amazing experience! Beautiful space, very clean, newly renovated and well maintained. A lot of attention to detail from the communication, breakfast and recommendations. Fausto and family are lovely and serve highest quality standard. All products from wine and breakfast to the soap are local from the farm. Fausto serves a great cappuccino in the morning!

If it was possible to score more than 10, then the owners would manage that easily. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests are taken care of. TRULY EXCEPTIONAL

An absolute delight - can't recommend highly enough!

I truly can't say enough good things about La Cascina di Carlotta! Starting with some basics - the rooms/bathrooms are clean and good-sized and it's extremely well-located. What exceeded my expectations... - Fausto is the best! Before we had even arrived he reached out to provide some dinner recommendations. He booked our dinners for us the three nights we stayed and they were all exceptional (and different)! We had our own plans for the most part during the day, but he had great recommendations for areas to visit/events to attend as well. Honestly it was like having a personal travel agent. - The breakfast is great - so many options, great service, and a nice dining room that provided a sense of community. In the afternoon Fausto shared some of their homemade beers with us and other guests as well. - Dogs, donkeys, homemade products from their lavender fields in the bathrooms... Just great vibes. All around. It's also super kid-friendly - I was traveling with a friend for this trip, but I would love to come back someday with a family of my own. Ultimately I can't recommend La Cascina di Carlotta highly enough!

We had such a wonderful time… the location is excellent, the building is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable (great beds!). You will be welcomed by a curious pack of donkeys, three very sweet dogs and, most of all, a wonderful host. Make sure to ask for restaurant recommendations, these people sure have style and taste! Breakfast was above all expectations as well. We were spoiled with quality and kindness. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect for rest and relaxation

Cascina di Carlotta was a beautiful place to stay! Very modern and well maintained with a nice pool. Breakfast each morning was delicious with a selection of chocolate Hazelnut spreads made by the owner Fausto. And if you love animals, they have three very sweet dogs and some donkeys on the premises. The location was great for us, near the main roads and only a short trip away from loads of pretty villages. Fausto is a very generous host, helping organise and book activities and restaurants throughout the trip. All suggestions were incredible! Thank you for a great stay 😊

La Cascina di Carlotta was an absolute joy to stay at! Fausto and the team were all incredibly helpful and friendly, and their generosity was exceptional. Perfect Piemonte getaway with incredible hospitality

Our stay at Cascina di Carlotta far exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for exploring Langhe, both wine tastings and the neighboring towns. The pool at the property was amazing so after a long day of wine tasting, it was the perfect place to relax. By far the best part was the amazing hospitality from Fausto, his wife and the other amazing staff. There were many small details that made it feel so much like home. Fausto made dinner reservations for us every night while we were there and the food (and views!) at the restaurants he recommended were always amazing! It took all the planning and guess work out of the holiday resulting in a truly relaxing 5* stay in Piemonte! We will for sure be back!

fantastic stay, highly recommend

Fausto and Carlotta were wonderful hosts! Fausto took care of all of our needs, from making restaurant recommendations and reservations to showing us bike routes and explaining the local area. The B&B is a beautifully restored barn and our apartment was luxurious as well as comfortable. We would definitely return for future holidays and highly recommend recommend this B&B !

truly exceptional hospitality and stay

a truly exceptional experience by Fausto and his wife. we were welcomed even before we arrived with a friendly message and tips for restaurants and wine cellars. With only a few rooms the property always feels tranquil and peaceful. everything was in perfectly clean and in super condition. The facilities such as a 25m(!) pool, bar with snacks and drinks and a shop with local products are truly enjoyable. we felt a bit disappointed to be leaving such a wonderful place, but more of a reason to come back. The location is also perfect in between Barolo, Alba and Barbaresco to discover the beautiful region. Tip, rent the e-mountainbikes to enjoy the roads and scenery in a different way. we will be back :)

If you go to Piemonte you must stay at Cascina di Carlotta

This is the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. Fausto and his family made us feel at home. My wife fell in love with their dogs. Every recommendation for dinner or lunch and wine tasting was spot on. The breakfast was wonderful as Fausto raises chickens for the freshest eggs and served great rolls and pastries, yogurt, and fresh fruit. We are definitely planning to return and highly recommend Cascina di Carlotta.

Excellent location to explore the Langhe. Great atmosphere, super friendly hosts, lovely farmhouse

A very homely family enterprise and atmosphere. Fausto really was extremely helpful and kind - far far beyond the call of duty. Very rare - in fact, a first! Very tastefully rennovated farmhouse, next to a minor road but shielded from it by bushes and trees. Sizeable garden where the dogs - simpaticissimi - can run around. Delicious breakfasts too. The place is within easy striking distance of Barolo, La Morra and other medieval hilltop towns. It's an ideal place to stay if you want to explore the Langhe and go on walks across the vineyards etc. -totally gorgeous scenery - or indeed do a gastro-wine-tastriung toyr of the area of Italy with THE most superb cooking and wines. And I really enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi after a days's hike up and down hills! Was a bit chilly in April for the pool, ut more towards summer the pool would be a real asset. Very child-friendly place too. Top marks.

the faucet in the bathroom works water-saving: the water comes out only when a shadow obscures the top of the faucet. this is good if you need to wash your hands, but it is uncomfortable and water-wasting (i.e. it generates a result opposite to the intended one) when it is used for tooth-brushing or otherwise

I stayed with my husband and two children. As soon as we arrived we were made very welcome by Fausto who made our stay a great experience. The room was lovely and the breakfast delicious! And the location was perfect - 10 minutes to Alba where we had a great meal (on Fausto's recommendation) - and for hiking and driving in the Piedmont region. We truly hope to be back!
