I had only stayed at the Lefkoniko bay for only a night, it was a stopping point on the way to Chania. Came in around midnight from ferry from Santorini. The staff informed us that the kitchen was closed but that they had placed 2 sandwiches, a bowl of mixed fruits and bottled water in the fridge to eat. Room was spacious, comfy, tidy and welcome rest on my travels.

Great location and really near to the beach, shops and bars. Only 10min walk from the old town which had some really good shops and access to the fortress which had fantastic views of Rethimnon. Staff pleasant and really helpful. We had a problem with our first room allocation as it was too small for a family of four adults but no fuss was made on exchanging for what we needed. Only downfall was distance from airport and cost us 80 euros for a cab.
