Honglai Business Hotel

The hotel is pretty central, room was clean, bathroom was fine. After all it is a business hotel. The hotel itself is in the 6th floor, unfortunately, you have cigarette smell in the elevator and in the 6th floor, but not in the rooms. Staying there for a night is fine, maybe longer if you don't mind the cigarette smell or the activities in the clubs below.

A more spacious accommodation than I expected! Got several nights here before the New Years for a reasonable price. The place was clean and felt homey. The front desk lady is really nice even if she doesn’t speak English, we found a way to communicate through gestures and google translate. The wifi speed at the hotel is actually amazing! Probably the fastest I had in Taiwan during my trip. There is no smoke smell anywhere in the hotel but the shared elevator is disgustingly stenches in smoke. Speaking of, the hotel located on the 6th floor making it a bit harder to find as this information wasn’t shared with me beforehand. The noise cancellation in the hotel is pretty bad for both inside and outside. What I mean by that the street is very noisy. So is the hallway when they are other people. However, there was less people during my stay so I got some quiet.

Good location for walking to night markets and main station. Ex love motel, picture of naked woman on the glass to the bathroom that had been scraped off, but you could still see. Noticeable cobwebs in the corner of the room, but it was definitely cleaned. Front desk staff was very nice.
