I know this is not a 5-star hotel, but I believe there are several areas where the experience could be improved. First, check-in took almost an hour simply because the printer was not working. I initially suggested that I could fill out the required form once the printer was available, but I was still asked to wait in the lobby. I eventually had to start working from there while waiting. I could have used that time to settle into my room and prepare properly for my shift. Unfortunately, the room itself was also disappointing. I found small cockroaches both in the bathroom and around the sleeping area, which was concerning from a cleanliness standpoint. The bathroom also needs improvement. While I was showering, the water drained so slowly that I thought it was going to overflow into the rest of the bathroom. The shower curtain also made the area unnecessarily messy. A proper glass or fiberglass shower enclosure would make the bathroom much more functional and comfortable. Lastly, please consider updating the photos and information on your listing. The room shown in the photos appeared to have a window, but the room I received did not. Had I known beforehand that the room would have no window, I would have gladly paid to upgrade to a different room. I understand that this is not a luxury hotel, and I did not expect a 5-star experience. However, basic cleanliness, accurate room listings, functional facilities, and a more efficient check-in process are reasonable expectations at any hotel. There is definitely room for improvement.
