If you are looking for a decent place to stay with a nearby Mall (Robinsons), this is a great option! The plated breakfast is also good and they have a big serving. It was a good and nice stay!

The Food was Amazing!

We spent New Year's Eve in the Deluxe Room at The Carmelence Place by Cerilo's, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was more spacious than we anticipated, with a thoughtful layout. The bathroom was cleverly concealed behind the cabinet wall, adjacent to the kitchenette, giving the space a fresh and organized look. At the back, there was a small open area for those who wish to smoke. The cabinets, adorned with molding on the doors, made the room feel like a cozy guest room in a friend's or relative's home. The overall design felt personal and well-thought-out, steering away from the generic hotel vibe. The area outside the room was a visual treat, especially for design enthusiasts like me. I understand the owner is a chair collector, and this passion is evident throughout the property. You’ll find unique chairs in various spots—at the tapas bar, the waiting area, the cabana where we had breakfast, and even in the form of functional chair art. Each piece seemed to have its own story, adding character to the serene surroundings. Breakfast, which was included in our booking, was absolutely divine. We chose the Filipino breakfast set, featuring beef tapa, daing na bangus, garlic rice, two eggs cooked to our preference, atchara, salad, a fruit bowl, and our choice of coffee, tea, or Four Seasons juice. It was hearty and flavorful, with the homemade vinegar dip standing out as a memorable highlight—I’m still dreaming of that breakfast! One point for improvement: the bathroom could have been cleaner. I also discovered a paper bag of old trash in the cabinet under the sink (I tend to inspect every nook and corner of the places I visit). While these details didn’t detract significantly from the overall experience, addressing them would enhance the stay. For dinner, we tried the Tapas Bar, and I’m already planning to return for the Spanish sardines pasta with 360-degree egg and their cocktails—it was simply delightful. However, the pintxos moruno (herbed marinated pork belly with citrus herbed garlic dressing) fell short for me as the flavors didn’t quite hit the mark. Overall, The Carmelence Place is a beautiful retreat with charm, character, and a focus on design. I’d definitely return for the serene atmosphere, design of the space, fantastic breakfast, and standout dishes at the Tapas Bar.
