Overnight in this place was good.

The place was clean, and we were able to cook our own breakfast by buying eggs and rice from a nearby sari-sari store, which helped us save some money. Although our stay was quite short, we were able to enjoy the place.
We arrived at around 2:00 PM and took a dip in the beach. In the evening, we had dinner in General Luna and rode a tuktuk, with a fare of ₱30 per person.
On the second day, we checked out early at around 6:30 AM, toured around the area, and then traveled back to Surigao at 2:00 PM.

The place is situated in Malinao which is a great location for travellers looking for a peaceful and slow moving / mornings stay. Location is 10-15 mins motorcycle away from the main streets of General Luna where the busy, crowded and night life area happens in Siargao. The place is also 3-5 mins walking distance from El Carabao resto which offers super delicious foods. The place is also a good spot for sunrise viewing as it is just few mins walk from the shoreline.
We booked for a van pick up at the airport, but ended up riding a different van transfer due to a not so organized comms from the management and the driver. When we spoke to the owner she said its already a normal thing - as it already happened a lot of times due to lots of vans eager to pick up passengers waiting at the airport.
As for the room accommodation, it was comfortable but the management can improve their guests stay by making the room more clean and tidy before they let their guests in - esp the kettle and the kitchen area as there were still little dead insects.
Overall, it was a comfortable and really enjoyed our stay at Yayay. The owner and her mother were really approachable and helpful.
