Camiguin Blue Lagoon Cottages

Though our flight was delayed and we weren’t able to catch the ferry, we still went to check in the next morning so we could enjoy the few hours we had left. Thankfully, they were kind enough to let us stay and make the most of our time there. The view was absolutely amazing, and we really enjoyed our short stay!

A day prior to my arrival, I asked if they provided an airport shuttle. I got no reply, so I asked again later that same day—still nothing. ​When I finally arrived on my first day, I found dirty beddings that even had what looked like a paw print on them. The next morning, I woke up to an earthworm in the shower area. On top of that, taking a shower felt uncomfortable because the toilet bowl had no cover. I had to be extremely careful not to let my towel touch it or let any of my clothes fall. ​On my second day around 6:00 AM, I rang the receptionist buzzer multiple times to ask for help calling a ride, but no one was there to assist. ​On my last day, after checking out, I asked for a ride to Benoni Port. Since they were having a hard time finding one, they offered to take me on their motorcycle. But out of nowhere, the driver disappeared without saying a word. After waiting 5 minutes, I had to haul my luggage back up to ask for an update, only to be told the driver lost the key. WOW!!!!! He didn't even bother telling me—he just fled. SHOUT-OUT to that driver who Completely Stood Me Up! Location is okay if you're entry or exit is at Benoni Port, though it is hard to get a ride from here or even going back here. ​FYI (Additional details): ​They claim to provide toiletries, but this literally just meant two TINY, soaps. ​They have a sign saying SOMETHING along the lines of a tough climb leads to a nice view. There is NO nice view here—whether at sunrise, sunset, or any regular time of day. It is definitely not worth the climb. No shower heater. Poor wifi signalat times. Also, they are having renovation so even at 7pm it could be a bit noisy. Price could have been fair ONLY if the staff was not stressful and that NO PAW PRINT found.

We booked two rooms here and I thought their parking space was real as seen on their “facilities” options but they actually have none. You will risk parking your car literally on the road. Everything was good, their food is great. I just hope they’ll upgrade soon and put a proper parking space.

I told the owner about our unusual experience at the room we stayed in via call but they didn’t even try to approach us personally or even try to offer something to comfort us. The place is weird, we did not get enough sleep on our second day because when the electricity was not working well, we (me and my partner) both had nightmares. This location is too far from the city proper so you should think about staying here.
