The staff is lovely and all the photos and the way they describe the resort online were accurate to what I experienced when I arrived. The salt water pool is also a lovely treat!

Perfect for family gatherings. Had a sweet time with my little fam and kid totally enjoyed the stay. Clean room and facilities.

A member of night staff tried to open the door in the middle of the night. Not okay. Totally unacceptable. At around 5 AM, one of the night staff tried to open our room door while I was asleep. Partner had already left early that morning, and our room had its own parking space. As soon as the car left, I heard a noise outside and then noticed someone trying to open our door. The chain lock was on, so they couldn't get in. It seemed like they realised someone was still inside the room and immediately walked away. Only hotel staff have access to the room keys, so this was completely unexpected. We've stayed in many hotels over the years, and this is the first time anything like this has ever happened. I immediately called the reception to report it. The male staff member I spoke to suggested it might have been one of their dogs or cats, which obviously doesn't make sense because animals can't open locked doors. When I spoke to him in person, he gave the same explanation. I probably would have let it go if they had simply acknowledged the concern and checked who was on duty, but instead they kept insisting on that explanation. Because of that, I contacted Agoda straight away. Early that morning, the owner, Rick, called to say he had received my report from Agoda, would review the CCTV footage, and that we could also view it. Later, another staff member, Lyn, called and said we would need a police report before we could access the CCTV. That was completely different from what the owner had told us earlier. She then called back again to say the owner had agreed to let us view it, but we wouldn't be allowed to have a copy. It felt like they were backtracking on what had originally been offered. Around noon, we met with Rick. He showed us screenshots of motion captured overnight rather than the actual CCTV footage. He pointed out staff members working around the property during the night and maintained that no one had been near our room. However, there are significant blind spots, and there are no cameras covering our room door or the nearby stairway. Because of that, he could not confirm or deny whether someone had actually tried to open our door. Even before meeting with him, we had already decided we no longer felt comfortable staying there and checked out early. We had originally booked two nights but left after the first. They refunded the second night's payment. Overall, this was a very unsettling experience. Hotels should make guests feel safe and secure, not leave them worrying that someone might try to enter their room in the middle of the night. I hope the management and Agoda take situations like this seriously so that it doesn't happen to anyone else.
