    Pros: Simple homestay in a good location. The linens were clean, wifi was strong, AC worked good, and staff was friendly. It was quiet at night and I couldn't hear the sounds from the road or bars/restaurants. It's near the petrol station, a bus stop, and the few ATMs in the area. This is also the area where the local night markets setup so it's easy to grab food. Cons: The address for the location is wrong on Agoda (it took me 15 minutes of walking around and a phone call to the host to find it). It's located right on Batu Ferringhi Road (search for Bamboo Inn on Google Maps). There are no windows in the room, they don't provide toilet paper (so bring your own), and when it rains, it can be really loud because of the metal roof. As a solo traveler, I didn't feel too safe staying here. During my week-long stay, I was the only person there for 3-4 nights in a row and the lock on the door was difficult to figure out/didn't always work. Even though the exterior door at reception required key card access, I didn't feel the safest staying here.
