Firstly, I wanna say that my wife and I had an unforgettable wedding anniversary experience at Firefly Resort.
I would like to personally thank the staff that took the time to decorate our room that day. Deco was simple and yet my wife was happy that night. I can't thank you all enough. All the staff are friendly and helpful, not to mention very thoughtful as well. (The boss/owner should give them a raise/bonus 😉) We feel very welcome during our stay there. The staff (Assistant manager and receptionist) can sing very well too, really well. We also received a surprise complimentary drink from the Manager himself too! Thank you! Food was great, company was great too! Everyone's having a great time at the restaurant. A night to remember for both of us ☺️
The facilities there are well maintained, especially the rooms. We love the walkway from the restaurant to our room. It gives a relax and peaceful vibe. It's close to nature. Our room was spacious enough for the two of us. Toilet was really big and clean! Water pressure and heater works great too! We had a small fridge as well! They even prepare umbrella outside of each room and a rack to dry your clothing. They even provide free self service laundry ! They've thought of everything! (Wife was saying , if only they put a long mirror in the room).
We love this place and we will come again for sure next time! This resort should get more 5 star reviews! Once again, we would like to thank all the staff for providing us a memorable stay in Firefly resort.

The resort is located some distance from town however the surrounding is quiet, peace. They have a very beautiful walkway to rooms, with lots of orchids and wildlife like squirrel, birds. So it's pretty obvious that they really take care of the place nicely. They also offered transportation to jetty and from jetty, super convenient. The in-house restaurant food also taste very good, the owner friendly and helpful

Unfortunately I did not love the firefly resort, getting a grab from semporna at peak rush proved difficult (multiple grab drivers declined the job due to traffic on the route). There was a hotel shuttle that may have solved this problem so I’d advise contacting the hotel in advance regarding this.
The room was clean and no complaints from that perspective.
I ate in the restaurant in the evening, which I unfortunately regret as I was subsequently quite unwell from a couple of hours after eating through the night, and given I’d missed lunch I can only put this down to the restaurant food unfortunately. Not surprisingly I didn’t try the breakfast after that.
