    We arrived here quite late, after deciding to have dinner at Chez Vansome first, following our arrival from Thailand before checking into the hotel. The security guard initially told us rooms were full (probably believing we were a walk-in), but I explained we have a booking, which he quickly found and then gave us our key. The room was great; the bed was amazingly soft and there was a separate desk, a TV with many international and Thai channels as well as a bar fridge. Unfortunately, probably due to the location of the rooms facing the cafe and restaurant, as well as parking lot in a sort of motel style, some late night arrivals (presumably Thais or Laotians who returned to the hotel after a stint at the casino or karaoke) made quite a bit of noise as they returned to their rooms, but this isn't the hotel's fault of course. Breakfast was quite good; a limited buffet with lots of fruits. Coffee wasn't included in the price and chargeable separately. We decided to have our coffee elsewhere, although I'm sure the coffee here would have been good. The price paid represented good value for money. I'd definitely stay again when next in town.

    No flexibility initially on check in even though we offered to pay as advertised and there were rooms available. No food at restaurant. Bed was good and breakfast ok if not a little weird. It could be a good resort with some changes and better management but I will not go again and cannot recommend it.

    Hotel is ok for the price but definitely not a 5 star and most definitely not a resort. A premium room had very basic facilities, website and Agoda stated a restaurant and coffee shop non existent not even built yet and the options around to eat are very limited with most small shops around selling out of date drinks and snacks. Staff at reception were great though and their customer service excellent. Overall not a great experience due to lack of facilities checked out 2 days early.
