출장 일정이 갑자기 바뀌어서 삼천포에서 하루 묵게 됐는데, 사천 더원호텔을 예약하면서 “조용한 고층 방이면 좋겠다~” 했더니, 웬걸! 8층에 단독으로 있는 방을 배정받았어요. 덕분에 조용하고 쾌적하게 잘 쉬었습니다.
사실 기대 없이 들어갔는데, 방이 생각보다 너무 깨끗하고 구조도 마음에 쏙 들어서 감탄하며 사진까지 찍어 가족 톡방에 자랑했답니다. 숙박료도 착해서 가성비 최고였어요.
호텔 바로 앞에는 용궁수산시장이 있어서 저녁 대신 낙지 한 마리, 오징어 한 마리 사다가 인근 초장집에서 소맥 한잔 곁들이며 하루를 마무리했죠. 삼천포 바다 분위기와 딱 어울리는 저녁이었어요.
다음 날 아침, 카운터 직원에게 “근처에 해장국집 괜찮은 데 있나요?” 물어봤더니 선미해장국 추천! 바로 앞이라 편했고, 바지락해장국 시켜 먹었는데 이게 또... 국물 맛이 예술이더라고요. 반찬으로 나온 묵은지 김치랑 깍두기까지 너무 맛있어서 결국 밥 한 공기 추가! 아침에 밥 두 공기 먹어본 게 처음이라니까요. 계산할 때 아주머니가 “어제 저녁 굶었나 봐요~” 하시더라고요. ㅎㅎ
참, 호텔 직원도 정말 친절해서 전체적으로 기분 좋았던 하루였습니다. 사천에서 숙소 고민하신다면 더원호텔 강추!
