White Tourist Hotel: Room 608
We had a poor experience with this hotel.
The bath towels smelled like mildew. And we ran out of toilet paper after day 2. We requested a trade for new, clean towels and were denied since policy is “one towel per guest.” We were begrudgingly given replacement toilet paper, citing that we had “turned down cleaning service” which implied that they were making an exception by providing more toilet paper.
Lastly, the hotel only had ~12 parking spaces. Hotel informed us we could park for free in the adjacent lot. On Day 2, we were blocked-in by a valet’s double-parked car and weren’t allowed to leave without paying despite explaining that the hotel said it was free for guests.
The most offensive part of the stay was that our room reeked of cigarette smoke which is impossible to document through photos or videos. I did my due diligence and informed both the hotel receptionist and Agoda *immediately* upon check-in (2100h). I requested a room switch and/or partial refund which were both denied.
We specifically booked a smoke-free room as stated in the Agoda listing. Our personal belongings smell like cigarettes and we all awoke with sore throats and headaches. We had to sleep with the doors/windows open, and leave them open for hours at a time in an effort to reduce the cigarette odor. It is winter in Korea and the overnight temperature during our stay was 38°F/3°C.
We had two separate rooms booked for this reservation, and the other Standard Room 305 was completely satisfactory. My many requests for a prorated refund for King Room*** were rejected.
I can not recommend this hotel to others.

It is a 7 min walk from the bus terminal, near a few bus stops, convenience stall, eateries. The entrance is at the road so you dont have to walk into dark alleys. The room is tidied everyday. However one of the nights, the towel was kind of dirty, just request to change. Overall a good experience.
