Info says there’s a free shuttle. Sent enquiry message about it, no reply. On the day the staff said there is no shuttle any more. They should update the info online.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. The hotel advertises itself as “newly renovated,” but the actual condition of the property tells a very different story. If it was renovated, it certainly does not appear to have been recent. The floors, bathroom tiles, fixtures, walls, sealant, and finishes all looked extremely dated, worn, and poorly maintained. Some areas looked as though they had simply been patched up rather than properly renovated. The bathroom was spacious, but it had a strong damp, musty smell. The condition of the bathtub area, toilet, flooring, and fittings was particularly disappointing. Even the bathroom slippers provided were visibly dirty and heavily worn. The linens and basic amenities were no better. One of the bed sheets was actually torn from age and wear, and the towels looked extremely old and overused. Even though this was a Twin room booked for two adults, only ONE towel was provided. A room intended for two guests should at least be properly equipped for two people. The tissue box was another example of the lack of attention to detail: there was literally one tissue left in the entire box. The listing also gave me the impression that laundry facilities were available. In reality, there was no laundry facility in the hotel itself; apparently, this refers to laundry options somewhere in the surrounding area. That should be made much clearer in the description. Service was another major problem. Reception was unattended most of the time. There is a button to request remote assistance, but that was hardly helpful because the person responding did not understand English. There was no attempt to use a translator or have someone come to reception to assist us in person. I simply needed an iron, but there was nobody available to ask, so I ended up leaving with my clothes wrinkled. The luggage-storage situation was also disappointing. There did not appear to be a proper secured luggage room or someone actually taking responsibility for the bags. You basically leave your luggage at reception and trust the security cameras. That is very different from what I would consider proper hotel luggage storage. And I would strongly suggest not looking too closely at the stairwell. There were old mattresses and other items stored there, which only reinforced the impression that this famous “renovation” is either still unfinished or took place a very long time ago. Judging by the condition of the property, this simply does not feel like a recently renovated hotel. The location near the subway is convenient, and the room itself was reasonably spacious, but those were among the very few positives. For the price, there are several other hotels in the area, and knowing what I know now, I would definitely choose somewhere else next time. Overall, the property felt dated, neglected, poorly maintained, and honestly rather depressing. The photos I uploaded show the actual condition we encountered. Between the worn-out bathroom, dirty slippers, torn sheet, heavily used towels, insufficient amenities for two guests, almost nonexistent reception service, and misleading impression of a “newly renovated” property, I expected considerably better.
