    Great place to stay when visiting Mt Omuro + shaboten zoo, good bonus if you get to visit granpal park as well Food was delicious 10/10 service could improve as staff lack English, good thing for google translate. Female staff during check out was cold and unwelcoming, however make staff during check in was super welcoming and very hospitable

    I have many things to share about my stay here but i try to keep them short. The hotel is pretty unique, they don't have many rooms but each room is spacious with great view. Make sure you get the dinner and breakfast option, they are SPECTACULARLY great. The breakfast is grilled fish that has alot of small sharp bones though, so be careful. The dinner is just... so good. Another thing to mention is this is quite a rural area with no convenience store or even night restaurants (most places close at 3pm or early evening). Another reason why you should get their dinner/breakfast. Most people come to this area for Mt Omuro and/or Izu Shaboten Zoo on a day trip, but you can consider staying a night and get early access to the zoo. You get more time petting those capys too! Facilities wise, they try their best but i wish they have a washing/dryer facility. Some rooms (if not all) does not have a shower so washing clothes in there is not an option, they have a great public bath with sauna though. I would suggest, you can access this place from Tokyo and arrive in the afternoon, visit Mt Omuro with the cable car, check in and rest. The next day you can check out and pet the capys.
