Seawood Beach Front Resort

Rooms are clean. Toilet is clean. Location is good. Unfortunately there was no restaurant or any other facility within the premises. Though the are good restaurants within walking distance. The staff are superb -very helpful and attend to any requirement cheerfully. A shoutout to Mr. Prameshwar Thakur for his coordination from the booking to checkout -great guy. Downside: There were leaks from the ceiling when it rained in the toilet. The water pressure was very low. Maybe because it was off season😀 Overall definitely a place to stay. Hospitality extended was excellent.

Not properly maintained cottage rooms are not well maintained old furniture in rooms ,water leakage in washroom ,dirty blankets

AC was leaking in the room given then shifted to another room, that room was not ready after being told it was ready. no curtains in the new room, the flush tank knob was missing, the room key itself was missing, sewage smell from bathroom, the bathroom had to no proper alignment so all the shower water flows towards the basin and toilet, property is run down, what the photos show and actual property is different. Twice the water stopped coming during the stay. No one comes to clean the room, the intercom phones in the room dont work. Staff is helpful but the management running it is not concerned i think to improve the running and upkeep of the property.

Its just a very average place and I would certainly not pay 7.5k per night for such a place. Pros: 1. Location is awesome. Its right on the beach. You walk 100m and you will be on Morjim Beach. In fact, ithe location is so perfect that on the left you have Morjim beach and on the right Ashwem beach. 2. It is Picturesque. The garden has many flowers, the pool setting looks good. Good for swimming as well. 3. Close to many restaurants. Not just the beach, there are quite a few restaurants just outside, many of which have beach sitting. Cons. 1. Room upkeep- the rooms definitely need renovation. They look beautiful but have many issues. We had cockroaches and big spiders lurking around in the night. The toilet seat was not fixed properly and would move dangerously. The wood wall of the shower was broken. The water would just disappear and whole day we had water with extremely low pressure. 2. Cleanliness - the staff would clean your room when you ask them. But they would not replace stuff like toiletries, towels, water bottles, etc. that would require separate follow ups. All in all, i would go to this place only If the upkeep gets better.
