Kurma Private Beach – A Rare Gem That Needs Polishing I stayed at Kurma Private Beach for three nights, and while the location is truly exceptional, the overall experience was a mix of awe and some disappointment. 🌊 Unbeatable Location & View The biggest highlight is the property’s proximity to the shore—so close that I could sit in comfort and watch the waves roll in through large glass walls. It’s rare to find a stay this intimate with the beach, and having a private stretch of sand made it feel exclusive and peaceful. 🙏 Warm Hospitality The landowner’s gesture during Diwali was heartwarming. While performing Car Puja, he cleaned my car alongside his—without being asked. Rahul, the staff member, was courteous and always available for help. 🍽️ Food The food was just okay—nothing memorable, but no complaints either. 🔧 Areas That Need Serious Attention Despite its charm, the property shows signs of neglect: - Curtains were torn, hanging loosely and detracting from the otherwise scenic setup. - Bath towels and bed linens were clean but very old, with visible stain marks that made them feel unhygienic. - Glass windows, the key feature for beach viewing, were dusty and smudged—regular cleaning is a must. - No outdoor shower to rinse off after beach time, which is a basic necessity for a beach property. - AC units struggled due to frequent power fluctuations, making nights uncomfortable. - Swimming pool wasn’t well maintained, with visible debris and cloudy water. - Housekeeping was irregular—despite a three-night stay, we had to repeatedly request cleaning. Staff cited leave issues, which didn’t feel convincing. - Appliances and lighting showed signs of wear, with several not working at all. - General maintenance seemed overdue—many elements felt like they were installed during the initial launch and never revisited. 🛏️ Comfort vs Cleanliness The comfort of the location was undermined by the lack of upkeep. Stained linens, torn curtains, and aging towels are small details that make a big difference in guest experience. --- Final Thoughts Kurma Private Beach has the potential to be a top-tier destination. Its location and warmth are unmatched, but the lack of maintenance and service consistency hold it back. With a one-time deep fix and regular upkeep, it could easily become a go-to retreat for beach lovers.

The beachfront room was spacious and offered beautiful views – we really enjoyed the stay there. The private pool was nice, though it could be made more kid-friendly, especially for children around 3 ft in height. The food was delicious, with generous portions and very reasonable pricing – definitely a highlight of our stay. The only downside was the coffee and tea, which could be improved in taste and quality. The staff were extremely cooperative and attentive, always ready to assist whenever we needed help. At night, flies were a bit of an issue, and we had to switch off the lights to manage them. The beach area is quite steep with strong currents, so we had to ensure the kids only played safely on the shore. Overall, the room rates felt slightly on the higher side; a little reduction would make it even better value for money.

We had an amazing stay experience at kurma resort. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Each villa has a private pool access which is maintained well. The access to private beach from the room is icing on the cake. The staff are very courteous and are available for all your needs anytime of the day. Food quality was very good and homely in taste. Vikram the property manager ensures that all your queries are addressed and needs are met. Would love to visit again in the coming days !!

It was a really nice stay. We had gone for one day. Room was neat and has amazing beach views. There is a private pool and a private beach too. Mr Vikram the incharge there - was exceptional. He took care of everything and was very kind. He made all the arrangements needed and food was delicious too. One thing I would want to highlight is , they have only one type of room. But listing is there for different rooms and they don't have Bathtubs in any rooms. All rooms are the same. So booking a basic room will give u the same facility as booking a higher priced room. There is a LISTING mistake. Beware of it.
