We stayed in a Suite Room at Voyage Songfum Retreat and had a wonderful experience overall.
The resort is beautiful, and the room was exactly as shown in the pictures. The highlight was the mesmerizing view from the room—watching the sunrise over the Himalayan mountains right from our bed was truly unforgettable.
The restaurant also offers stunning Himalayan views, making every meal more enjoyable. The property has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a getaway from city life.
The staff were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Sushma Ji for her warm hospitality and excellent service.
The location is a bit far from the city, but since we were traveling by our own car, it wasn’t an issue. In fact, it adds to the peaceful charm of the resort.
The only area for improvement is the food, which was decent but not quite what we expected from a 4-star property. We also faced some internet connectivity issues initially and had to follow up a few times before it was resolved. But honestly, with such breathtaking mountain views around, the internet hardly mattered. 😜
Overall, a lovely stay with comfortable rooms, excellent hospitality, stunning views, and a peaceful ambiance. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Gangtok and looking for a relaxing mountain retreat.

Lovely resort in the lap of nature..The views from the resort are mesmerising. Not meant for people who enjoy noise and crowd.. Amazing staff and lovely Tibetan architecture. Good food, few cultural activities will be a plus point

Hotel has been started 7-8 months back only.
It is a boutique hotel with limited rooms (around 25)
Location is outside the city, it’s actually far but peaceful and with decent views.
Staff is hospitable, breakfast taste was good.

There are a lot of insects and bugs—they even get inside the room—and you won't even find a fan.
