    Our stay at Venice Boat House, Alleppey was absolutely terrible. The most basic necessity — water — was not available. There was no water supply for bathing or even using the toilets, which is completely unacceptable for any accommodation, let alone one charging guests money. We were never informed about this issue in advance, and the staff showed zero urgency or accountability when we complained. No proper explanation, no solution, just excuses. Hygiene and basic comfort were totally ignored. A boat house without water is a joke, and this place clearly does not care about guest experience. Poor management, poor facilities, and a complete waste of money. I strongly recommend staying away unless you’re okay with discomfort and frustration.
