Zone Niathu Dimapur by The Park

I am extremely disappointed with my recent booking in Dimapur. This was my first visit to the city, and the experience was unacceptable: The hotel gave me a cottage room, which is normally available at half the price I paid. Despite this, I was charged the full higher rate, and the hotel falsely claimed it was the same category. When I contacted the hotel reception, they admitted it was Agoda’s mistake and told me to reach out to you. Contacting Agoda was extremely difficult — I was kept on hold for 25 minutes, and still no solution was provided. This is clear misrepresentation and overcharging. I request: Immediate refund of the excess amount charged. Written clarification on why the wrong room was allocated. Assurance that such practices will not be repeated. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to escalate further by filing a consumer complaint and posting detailed reviews on public platforms.

Lovely stay at Niathu, as always; however, the marketing and advertising of rooms are inaccurate by Agoda. Photos of room types at various prices is very different to the actual match. Would appreciate it if this is avoided so that customers/guests are not misleaded/tricked. The Resort staff are also placed in a difficult position by this matter. As a guest, I put my trust in Agoda and expect to get exactly what I “see” and “pay” for; when this trust is broken, it’s very hard not to look for other better and trustworthy options. I hope Agoda addresses this issue sincerely.

We stayed at the resort for 3 days and absolutely loved the experience there...from the most warm welcome and smooth check in, to the amazing hospitality and exceptional service of the staff made our stay most comfortable!! The room was very spacious with a lovely open balcony and included all amenities. We enjoyed the access to the various gaming activities. It was an extremely relaxing and fun 3 days !!
