    The place is certainly photogenic, but there’s a lot that needs improvement. The rooms have an old English style charm, but the resort falls short when it comes to offering basic food items. Some of the activities advertised, like the plantation walk, were not available due to "bad weather," which felt a bit off. Additionally, the hotel office repeatedly pushed for advance payment to confirm our booking, claiming that many people were waiting for a reservation and we could cancel if needed. However, there were only 2-3 families staying during our visit. P.S. The hotel feels pretty eerie at night, with minimal staff, a sense of quiet, and low occupancy. It’s a bit unsettling, though it’s undeniably beautiful in the morning when the place comes to life.

    We had a very pleasent and great stay at the Old Kent's Estate and Spa on 18th April'25. We have booked an English Cottage and the choice we made was amazing. This stay is situated in a very scenic place in the middle of their own Coffee and Spices estate. Since its 2-3kms inside from the main road, we will be able to really enjoy the sounds of nature, we will feel that we are very much dissolved with the Nature and its beauty. We had an estate walk along with the guide and other guests and that was really good and interesting. 5/5 for the location. The Staffs were very polite and professional, really treating their guests well. The food was really amazing. Well done and Thank you Chef Mr. Naveen. Special thanks to the staffs Kavya, Shanmugham, Arvind and Sampath. You guys provided a very good support during our stay. Minor observations are first the Welcome Drink provided was really average, they could have provided some Fresh Juice instead of flavoured drink. The charges vary based on season/weekdays/weekend. We had visited during a long weekend so we had to pay double the normal charge for a stay in this place. Otherwise all good! Thank you Old Kent's Team! Must book if you are looking for a Luxury great stay in the middle of a Green Coffee and Spices Estate. Thank you!
