Very authentic Mexican. Location was great.

There was a sewer smell in our room. All that was needed was a cover for the sink drain. A lot of places in Mexico don’t have a plumbing venting system so covering the drains is normal.

Staff was VERY nice. This is a quirky place with a great location to walk everywhere. Too loud for most people.

Location is both good a bad. It is VERY loud. The windows are open air style with shutters. The bathroom is in the "kitchen area" (literally the toilet is where you eat) and the "kitchen area" is a hot plate and dorm style refrigerator. There was a small bar stool and a table chair, but that is the only seating in the room. It is incredibly loud at night until about 2am unless you turn the fan on full blast, which made it cold in our room and there are no extra blankets, even upon request. The internet does not work in room. There is no safe which was concerning considering our door could be pushed open by with one finger. This is a VERY quirky hotel. I liked it but it was expensive for what you got. Many people would not enjoy the room we stayed in.
