Waterfront Escape in Cub Run w/ Deck & Hot Tub!

The house is spacious and has everything you need for fun. There is a lot of beautiful natural light. It was clean and had many things in the kitchen to make food and drinks. The hot tub was easy to use and very cozy. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The scenery is beautiful and it was peaceful during our stay. It is about a little over an hour drive to Bowling Green with many different restaurant options and about an hour from the visitors center at Mammoth Cave where tours leave from. About a half hour drive away is a great little spot called Webb’s Eats and Treats where I can definitely recommend the catfish box with onion rings.

The only downsides to staying here are due to the environment and not the actual house or its amenities: it is a longish drive to get to any kind of supplies, the roads are very winding and narrow and the driveway is very steep (difficult to drivers unused to it), the walk down to the lake is pretty steep and can be hard to get back up from, and the lake levels can vary pretty widely in a short period of time. These are just the sort of inconveniences that are typical in the area.
