    Our recent stay at La Ponta Suites & Villas in Santorini was unfortunately disappointing, especially considering the positive reviews from 2023. Upon arrival at 16:00—an hour after the scheduled check-in time (15:00)—we were informed that the villa was not yet cleaned or prepared for our stay. In the meantime, we were instructed to wait an additional 2 hours at a nearby restaurant, losing 3 hours of time that we intended / paid for to be staying in the villa. During the first evening of our stay, the water supply had stopped mid-shower, taking over an hour to resolve after contacting management and requiring support from the island's water services, leaving a group member unable to finish showering in the meantime. As aware prior, the location is inconvenient for those without a rental car, with limited nearby dining options and a 20-25 minute walk to the nearest beach, which has steep inclines. Even a basic 8-minute taxi ride cost us 35 EUR after a day at the beach. Other complications included: an insufficient breakfast for the number of guests (also without acknowledgment of dietary restrictions), no streaming services on the TVs, leaking refrigerator coolant that attracted ants, and an unkempt shower head fully covered in limescale buildup. There were also not enough towels for the pool, and the villa lacked adequate trash receptacles. While management/staff was responsive to assist with some issues, overall, the experience fell short of expectations, presenting concerns that could be addressed in advance for future guest stays.

    Was reluctant to book because of the distance from the main towns UT was happy I did. The drive to the hotels location is filled with breathtaking views. And is only a 10-15 minute drive from the the center of the island. The rooms where very upscale ans every suite /villa came with a private hot tub or pool. There was a gym with a pool available for all guests. Price point was very low considering the amenities. Will come back for sure. Stella at the front desk was very helpful.
