    Very friendly for both foreigner travellers and local people I do agree the location is a little unconventional especially if carrying many luggages but its so worth it especially being so close to Dali Ancient City and the building itself is so beautiful and photogenic 我觉得环境优美和平安我父母都喜欢 I did the photoshoot with my sister and the makeup artist was very understanding and experienced, photographer was also super focused and locked in I had so much fun and it wasnt awkward at all 非常满意 Special shoutout to the staff: 小邓，小伟，小杨，Freed SUPER HELPFUL saranghaeyo would deffo come back again 10/10 experience I already miss it

    Had a nice experience staying here, it is a short walk away from recommended restaurants I found online, which was a surprise. Appreciate the help from the staff, especially 小邓 and 小罗, to deal with our requests.

    It's a beautiful hotel, and looks exactly how it is shown in the pictures, but that's about it. The hotel is at the bottom of a narrow road, and we specifically booked a driver through the hotel so that she can drop us at the hotel car park (that's what the reviews recommended). The driver was rushing us even though the train was packed and we needed time to get out of the station. The driver made us drag our luggage to a location which was opposite the train station (we had to cross an overhead bridge to get there), and she also only dropped us at the top of the road. We then had to bring our own luggage down. Didi would have been a better option. No one from the hotel helped us with our luggage either. The worst part about this hotel, which no one else had brought up is that THERE IS NO AIR CON! There is only a vent which releases hot air above 24 degrees. It was very hot and sunny on our arrival, and we were very surprised to find that there is no air con in this hotel. Even when we stayed in Lijiang (much colder than Dali), even the most rural hotel had AC. The hotel staff were kind enough to provide a stand fan but we sweated through the night. Do NOT recommend in Summer. The hotel staff were very friendly and kind, but the shortfall is from the higher management. Please resolve the AC issue, and please engage better drivers who are familiar with the pick up and drop off point. On the plus side, the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Would recommend for 1 night just to take beautiful pictures.
