I stayed 2 hotels in Guangzhou, before this with in week. but here they asked me to go police station for verification before checking. generally police come to hotels for guest verification but here i went there, i did't have any option to cancel the same time. i was unaware about location so they give me pick and drop and charge for this . money is not a issue but the entire process took my so much time and i got frustrated. i felt they are not welcoming guest. location and environment is good but to add 5-10 $ you can get much better option.

This was my first travel to China and booked this hotel. I was very lucky I found this hotel. There is Xicun metro station in walking distance. Room is new and very clean. Good decor. Since I didn't had wechat, the reception staff have me his metro card to recharge and use until I go my Chinese sim and install wechat. The staff was very very helpful. The reception staff himself took me to police station for my verification process (this is for Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi only).
There is Indian restaurant in Taojin, so you can travel in metro with station distance. There are grocery and stationary stores nearby.
