    Love the chic design of the hotel. Spacious and clean room. The only donwside was i specifically chose this hotel because i thought it has huge windows but we where given a low floor room that has smaller size window. But overall our stay was very comfortable and happy with the stay. Location was ok, about 15-20mins didi ride to known tourist spots.

    I stayed at Caption by Hyatt Zhongshan Park Shanghai with high expectations, but left completely disappointed with the service, facilities, and the room. For the price they charge—and given that it carries the Hyatt name—the experience was entirely unacceptable. The Room & Facilities: Lacking Technology & Basic Cleanliness In this price range, you expect a certain level of modern comfort. Unfortunately, this hotel is severely lacking in technology. There are no smart toilets, no smart curtains, and the Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow. Worse than the lack of tech was the cleanliness and design: Hygiene issues: We were grossed out to find visible stains on the chair and stray hairs on the bed upon arrival Poor Design: The bathroom layout is incredibly awkward. The basin and tap design is completely impractical, causing water to spill everywhere whenever you use it. Service: A Failure at Every Stage The service was just as disappointing as the room itself. From start to finish—before checking in, during our stay, and even after checking out—the customer service was lacking and fell way short of the standard you'd expect from a Hyatt property. Verdict You are paying a premium price for a sub-par experience. Between the poor cleanliness, weird room design, slow Wi-Fi, and lackluster service, I cannot recommend this hotel. Save your money and stay elsewhere.
