    This is the second time we've had a night in town (we live in the inner North of Melbourne) and stayed at the Howey in a corner room. They are perfect hotel rooms but the corner view is the best! If you like cyberpunk scifi aesthetics, you'll love sitting on the chaise longue looking out at the lights at night.

    Located in a nice quiet spot near chinatown. However, hotel lobby was very cramp and constantly packed with people as it's just a tiny space. Staffs were friend and accommodating. Room was decent and nice. Facilities were minimal so don't expect much. *** DRIVERS TAKE NOTE *** Driving is the worse experience for any tourist in town area. Parking are ridiculously priced. As for hotel parking, you have to park at another building down the road and go through instructions on how to do it at the counter. They require you to download an app but it doesn't work for non locals. The only way is to use the credit card you tapped at the carpark, go back to hotel staff to get them to sort out the card for you to be entitled for the per entry rate. Still a bad experience as it was stated that parking is $25 for 24 hours of parking however I was charged $30. Remember my instructions otherwise you'll be driving out with a 3 digit parking fee.
