About this chalet rental
The creek attracts weasels, otters, herons, loons and other birds. What's more, the creek is shallow and has a sandy bottom. This makes it a popular playground for children and adults alike !
The cottage has been completely renovated while retaining its rustic look. All appliances, kitchen, bathroom, etc. are new. It has a large wooded lot at the top of the stairs and there is a fire pit with a sofa directly on the dock.
Summer activities: fishing (lake with stocked trout), biking, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking (famous hiking trails around).
Winter activities : downhill skiing (near Tremblant and Mont Blanc), skating ring around the lake, snowshoeing path right on lake, cross-country skiing...
In winter, the creek doesn't freeze, so deer often come there to drink. We can feed them with apples.
Additional important informations :
1-Access to the cottage is via a long, uneven staircase. The chalet is therefore not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
2-The pavilion next to the cottage has a pretty bedroom (picture #11) and is comfortable thanks to a fan and auxiliary heating from May to October inclusive.
