The bathrooms have plush, new towels to go along with the new flooring, vanities, and lighting. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated with comfortable mattresses, various lighting options, and beautiful bedding. You'll find photos throughout the house featuring famous Kenyon alumni, images of the Kenyon campus, and various sites around Gambier. Many of these were taken by local photographer Terry Thurston.
For Kenyon sporting events, The Lowry Center, McBride Field, and the Field at Benson Bowl are right down the street. You're also very close to the Meadow Lane Residences. Main campus is just up the hill where you can stroll along Middle Path.
Gambier has everything you'll need and it's all just steps away. If you're hungry try The Village Inn or Kenyon Inn restaurants. The Village Market is open daily for groceries and fresh pizza. Next to the market, you'll find a Post Office and Campus Auto where Leo sells both gas and diesel and can provide repairs on many makes and models of cars. Speaking of cars, if you drive an electric vehicle there are several chargers nearby. Tesla destination chargers can be found at the Kenyon Inn and in the parking area beneath the Kenyon Bookstore. There are also several ChargePoint chargers in the parking lot on Acland Street near the dining hall. Across from Campus Auto you'll find a fast charger that fits many EV brands.
The Gambier Community Center is very close. Here you'll find a library, access to the Kokosing Gap Trail, and a park for more outdoor fun.
