Deer View - A luxury rural property with breathtaking views

The location was lovely and the hosts very welcoming. Great views and very peaceful. Hosts were kind enough to leave milk, eggs and prosecco. Lots of lovely things to do nearby and some great walks to do with dogs. The water pressure was great too which sounds an odd thing to comment on but if you have long thick hair to wash - ideal!

The sofa and bed were sadly not that comfy and unfortunately there was quite an unpleasant smell of sewage in the hall and stairway up to the flat itself - not sure if there is some sort of septic tank / drainage issue, luckily it wasn't in the flat itself which was lovely.

Deer View is a nice and comfortable place in a quiet area. All the luxury you need, a nice to sit or eat. With a lovely view

I only missed a comfortable chair for in the garden.

En skøn lejlighed med alt det vi havde brug for. Den er super indrettet og har en skøn udsigt over marker. Lige i nærheden er der en dejlig sti, ideelt til en aftentur i ro og fred. Værterne var super søde og gav os gode anbefalinger til steder, vi kunne besøge. Vi kommer igen 😊

The views, the proximity to the public footpath and further walks (a particular plus from the dog!) The welcome and interaction with our hosts. It had everything we wanted.

I suspect that we cooked more than most guests but only 4 plates etc meant we were always running out. There weren't many alternatives so the bowls were used as vegetable dishes etc and weren't available for pudding or breakfast. We were only 2 but if we had been 4 it would have been a nightmare to cook. It meant that we used the dishwasher more frequently than strictly necessary. A small point and only if you have to renew them for other reasons, the drawers in the bedside tables in the twin room are tiny. Slightly bigger ones that would take a teashirt would not take up much more space or cost more. I am short so the shelf in the hanging cupboard was quite high for me.
