Kihei Akahi Resort - Unit B103

This is a cute condo located very close to a beach. The first day we went to watch the sunset and there was a sea turtle just snoozing on the beach! I love that it was a two bedroom two bath unit and they had everything you needed for the beach including an umbrella, beach chairs, and a cooler. There were even some cold beers in the fridge from the previous occupant. It was in a good location and was very comfortable.

I liked the condo a lot and hope to stay there again. The only drawback is there are a lot of rules to read and follow. For instance, when departing, they ask you to wash all the linen (towels, sheets, beach towels). Luckily our flight didn’t leave until later, but this involved 4 loads of laundry. The dryer wasn’t very large and didn’t seem to dry very well. So this would be an impossible task if you were flying out early. We did do all the laundry, took out all the trash and wiped down the countertops as requested. One note: air conditioning is only in the living room, not the bedroom. But there are fans in the bedrooms. Even with this small inconvenience, it was a wonderful stay.
