Stepping Stones Cottage

We loved the character of the Cottage from the outside, with the delightful Betty’s cake shop next door. Coupled with the feel of the Cottage and the old mounting block. Inside was just as though the conversion had just been done. Nice compact rooms, lovely shower room, Dressing area, the quirkiness of the time clocks in the bedroom and the amazing mirror. Obviously these items and all the other items throughout the Cottage added to its carefully chosen inclusive furnishings. The bed was super comfortable too. The kitchen/dining area was superbly kitted out and that’s why we rated this as excellent. Betty and her helpers clearly work very hard to maintain the property.

Nothing. It suited us perfectly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

I stayed overnight at the cottage as I was attending a wedding nearby. The village looks lovely and I would have explored more if I’d had time. It was a nice gesture to have home made cakes and milk to make a cuppa.

Great location with pub and shops in village but remember to check opening timestamp . Very comfortable cottage - perfect for 2 people and dog.

Only that we didn’t know where to put our rubbish.

Very cosy little cottage good location for walking and visiting local area. Free car park 100 yards away if you can't park outside the cottage.

No garden to sit out in but across the road is a little green with some seats.
