Period cottage in Bakewell opposite a beautiful Church pretty residential area.. You do not need a watch as the church bells are timely and so wonderfully English. The Cottage is very comfortable and homely. Lovely bathroom and bed rooms. Would book again without a doggie.
The small rear courtyard is cute for a couple only to sit but not secure for a dog or children as the low metal gate can not be locked. The cottage is on a very busy road car can be unloaded then needs to be moved to a parking bay. Not a problem for us but could be for elderly or less mobile couples. Area is lovely.

The house is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is furnished to a very high standard and the welcome pack was greatly appreciated. Communication with the hosts was very easy and they are so helpful - to the point of saving us a car parking space whilst we unloaded - you couldn’t ask for more!
