Liebevoll renoviertes Haus, sehr herzliche Gastgeber, sehr gutes Essen.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to give 11, so 10 it will have to be, sorry for that! We were a group of 9 people hence we booked the whole house (that could easily accommodate 2 more people as we had one twin bedroom spare), we arrived late, we were anyway welcomed personally by our charming hosts. In the morning our breakfast was served in the garden with a view over surrounding mountains and my daughter picked up some figs directly from the tree next to our breakfast table. I mean, if you ask her, this already deserved a 10, but everything else about this place is just perfect - how beautifully it was refurbished by Stephane himself to the greatest comfort of the guests, at the same time preserving the soul of the original house, how every bedroom has its own bathroom and everything is spotless clean, how you open a window in the morning to breathe in the heart of Corsica, how the bakery arrives at your doorstep with fresh croissants. The house has plenty of common spaces where you can spend time together if you come in a big group or family: a huge dining room and a separate tv/game room. I lost count of terraces and balconies you can use depending on the time of the day, if you prefer sun or shade at a given moment. You can drive "down" to the seaside and find beautiful beaches with hardly any people, you can drive for 10 mins, do 30 mins hike and swim in a mountain river among the rocks, you can drive further inside the island and visit lively Corte, or you can just stay in and enjoy the local bar which is full of local people in the evenings.

Das Haus ist eine ehemalige Mühle, die vom Gastgeber in atemberaubend schöner Weise umgebaut wurde. Wir haben uns nicht nur in den einzelnen Räumen des Hauses sehr wohl gefühlt, sondern auch in den verschiedenen Ecken des Gartens und auf den Balkon- und Terassenplätzen, die einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf die umliegende Berglandschaft bieten. Das Gastgeberehepaar bereitet ein tolles und vielfältiges Frühstück zu und auf Wunsch auch ein sehr leckeres Abendessen. Wir haben uns als Familie mit Teenager-Kinder regelrecht verliebt in Haus, Gastgeber und Essen.

Wir hätten uns natürlich denken können, dass es hilfreich gewesen wäre, Spray zum Schutz gegen Mücken mitzubringen.

Diner de grande qualité avec des produits du jardin parfaitement cuisinés et un très bon vin à prix léger, dans le jardin qui domine la mer et fait face aux montagnes. Confitures du petit déjeuner. Chambre parfaitement aménagée et décorée avec vue incroyable depuis le tout haut du village. Mise à disposition de la cuisine pour se préparer une salade. ; Conseils de promenade
