Let me tell you a story. This place is amazing. They have a large kitchen and dining area. An outside grill, a big fridge with an ice maker in the freezer, toaster, airfryer, garbage disposal, dishwasher, coffee maker, washer and dryer...I do wish i could have found a little vacuum for sand but we made do.
The couch is L shaped for lounging was a heaven send the little faux fireplace is a great touch and added a nice ambiance. Incredible for when we needed just a touch of heat or for drying shoes.
The bed is FIRM, full on papa bear firm, i thought it was plywood at first. I have some mobility and back issues and was more comfortable on the couch at times but surprisingly I didn't wake up with back pain. Plenty of room for clothes in the bedroom.
Bathroom has a large shower with bench, if you need assistance showering it would work, there is a small ledge to step into shower. The bathroom is conveniently spacious and allows for two people to maneuver.
As stated in the description there are 5 steps to get into the house, and a few to get into the back terrace that has lounging chairs and a sunshade. However, it being hurricane territory you're hard pressed to find anything that doesn't have stairs.
It's about 15 minutes to walk to the seawall, just far enough off the main road to avoid traffic and people for a quiet stay, and easily accessible if you want to get into town. One parking spot for a small suv or sedan.
