La Casetta di Lussy

A very kind host who lives right next door and was extremely helpful. The fact that I don’t speak Italian and she doesn’t speak English wasn’t a problem at all — she helped me with everything and was always very friendly. In front of the apartment there is a small terrace where you can smoke a cigarette or enjoy a beer. The room is large and comfortable (with a comfy double bed), and the kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. The street is small and very local (for me, it was a plus to watch the daily life of Palermo residents while having my morning coffee). There is air conditioning, though I didn’t need to use it in May. It’s very easy to get to the centre of Palermo, but you can also walk there without any problem. I felt comfortable and safe throughout my stay.

As I mentioned, it’s a local street, so if you’re not prepared for noise, it probably means you’ve never been to Italy :) I had earplugs with me, so I slept perfectly well at night and during the riposo. Shops, restaurants, and bakeries are all close by. A wonderful stay. <3 I will be back for sure.

Izuzetno prijatna prijateljska atmosfera. Dobra lokacija, sve što smo hteli da posetimo išli smo peške. U blizini je sve što vam je potrebno, radnje, kafane.

Ulice bi mogle da budu čistije.

The apartment was beautifully furnished, everything was brand new and very comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels provided, which was much appreciated. The location was excellent, close to everything we needed.

Little bit noisy but not to much

Everything Lussy and her family are beautiful people. Our car ferry from Salerno was late arriving in Palermo at 11:30 p.m., and they were there to greet us .we immediately felt at home. We loved this place.

Everything thing was perfect and brand new and very clean and well stocked with coffee and tea. 2 minutes from the port and a short walk to center city .
