Limni means “lake”, and the area was named after a lake that existed many years ago. Today, the only body of water in Keri is the sea. Limni Keri is one of the most unspoiled resorts in southwestern Zakynthos. It consists of the area around the beach, and an uphill village.Keri is located on the southwest of the island. People refer to it as a fishing village, since many residents have been fishermen for years, and of course, you can also enjoy the popular activity there today. Other occupations held by the locals for centuries were farming and agriculture, whereas today, many families own small hotels, shops and eateries, making it an ideal location for travellers who want a taste of the real Zakynthian hospitality. Everything is within walking distance from the holiday apartments – Zante styled restaurants, supermarkets and beach bars.
