Parking (limited number of spaces) at the house, public parking 150 m on the road extra. Parking space or garage only for small to medium-sized cars. Shop, supermarket, restaurant, bar 100 m, bus stop 1 km, sandy beach "Dell'Isolotto" 500 m. Marina 100 m. Nearby attractions: La Maddalena (island) 5 km, Santa Teresa di Gallura 20 km, Porto Pollo 7 km, Arzachena 15 km, Porto Cervo 30 km, Porto Rotondo 42 km. Please note: car recommended, no lift.

I lived in Palau years ago and this was perfect to return to. You can walk to town, the ferry and boat rentals. There is also a small beach nearby but there are much better ones if you have transportation. The night life and vibe on La Maddalena is a bit better in my opinion but for convenience to explore Sardinia or make an early morning flight from Olbia, this is better. There is a Farmer’s Market every Friday morning and a night market every night in summer in Palau. Be sure to visit Gelateria d’Angelo - best ever and it has been there for over 30 years. The only downside of the apartment was that the AC unit is in the living room at the front of the unit and you must leave the bedroom doors open at the back or you will be roasting at night. Strong AC though, good laundry machine, kitchen equipment was fine. Palau has a lot of garbage sorting rules the property expects you to manage. Also, if you are driving the 1 way streets in Palau make getting back to this spot a bit of a challenge (Google Maps was not accurate). We lived there and still got turned around! The property manager said there were no beach towels but there were a few and an umbrella when we arrived. We left others we bought as well.

Casa accogliente bellina ma non il massimo,patendo dal fatto che c’è una tv minuscola e lontanissima dal divano,casa dotata di lavatrice ma non di ferro da stiro quindi praticamente dopo aver lavato i vestiti sporchi si possono rimettere in valigia,noi siamo stati molto sfortunati per quanto riguarda i vicini volevamo relax ma ogni volta che si usciva in balcone c’era musica schiamazzi urla e non si poteva mai mangiare in santa pace fuori,se ci tornerei? No ne cercherei una con più privacy

Die Wohnung war viel größer, als sie auf den Fotos rüber kommt. Sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr ordentlich! Die Terrasse ist groß. Hier kann man sich (trotz mitten in der Stadt) in Ruhe sonnen. Alles voll funktionsfähig (Waschmaschine und Co).Die Lage ist einfach der Wahnsinn!! Mitten drin, es ist immer was los, ca 4 Minuten zum Strand zu Fuß, viele Geschäfte sind um einen herum. Die Stadt ist belebt – auch hauptsächlich von Einheimischen. Trotzdem ist gegen 23 Uhr alles leise (außer freitags ;))... ist sehr nett, zuvorkommend, spricht gut englisch und ist super schnell, wenn wir Ihre Hilfe brauchten!! Wir hatten einen richtig schönen Aufenthalt!! Reisetipps: Capo Testa Stadt Palau Strand von "San Teresa di Gallura" Der Weg unterhalb vom Aussichtspunkt in "San Teresa di Gallura" Absolut empfing: die Insel "La Maddalena" mit der neben Insel (hier jagt ein Traumstrand den nächsten!!!) Alghero und die Neptun Höhle
