Overall this is a great house. The view is stunning and having a private dock is a fantastic feature. The beds are comfortable and kitchen is stocked with every dish or kitchen gadget you could ever need! We loved having so many kayaks and paddle boards to use and the deck furniture is great. I think the main downside to our visit was that the cleaning crew does not stock much or clean thoroughly. When we pulled down the blinds, they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years and the window tracks had cobwebs and spiders. We were a group of 8 staying for 5 nights and they left us half a roll of paper towels, 1 dishwasher tab, 2 garbage bags and 2 laundry pods. We did request some supplies from the host and he promptly delivered them. We brought steaks to grill on the bbq and only got about 5 min of cooking time before the propane ran out and there was no more to use. It’s a beautiful property and the owners have the house stocked great! But it would be nice if it was better stocked with necessities and cleaned a little better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very special property on Hood Canal. The views are absolutely incomparable, and having a small, separate cabin for our daughter and her family made the experience even more perfect. The home itself feels like you’re staying at a beloved family retreat—warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully appointed. Beach access was easy and convenient, and having a dock was such a bonus. We also appreciated the ample parking—something that’s rare along Highway 106. Communication was excellent and extremely responsive, which made everything even smoother. Every detail made our time here feel like a true blessing. We would love to return!
