Welcome to James River Landing—your riverside retreat just a block from downtown Galena, Missouri. Nestled along the scenic James River, this getaway blends the peace of nature with the convenience of being just minutes from Branson’s attractions—while still feeling a world away.
The river is literally your backyard. Select outfitters can shuttle you upriver so you can float back to your cabin—or simply relax on the back deck and take in the sights and sounds of nature. Prefer to stay dry? Enjoy a peaceful stroll, watch wildlife, or unwind by the water’s edge.
Our property includes four cozy cabins (each sleeps 4) and one spacious lodge (sleeps 12), all elevated on stilts for unbeatable views and a unique stay right at the water’s edge.
Cabin #2 is The Cardinal's Roost—one of our charming one-bedroom cabins, perfect for couples or small families.
Planning a gathering? Rent multiple cabins for a reunion or friend getaway. Float together, picnic by the river, then retreat to your private cabin, all connected by a shared deck just steps from the shoreline.

These cabins are phenomenal! The cabin was meticulous and the views were excellent! The property owners are super helpful and responsive! Highly recommend!!
